Since 2017, he has served as a client insights consultant with Circana, where he is responsible for providing comprehensive sales data analysis, building presentation decks, answering data-related inquiries and collaborating with teams to support daily sales operations and long-term business expansion. His expertise in data analytics, customer presentations and report building has been instrumental in driving success for his clients. In addition to his primary role, Mr. Fox is contracted as an insights consultant for Ste. Michelle Wine Estates, where he leverages his analytical acumen to help grow the company’s presence in the wine industry.
Before joining Circana, Mr. Fox was a category manager at Talking Rain Beverage Company from 2014 to 2017. In this capacity, he managed product categories, analyzed market trends and contributed to strategic planning initiatives that enhanced the company’s competitive edge. From 2007 to 2014, Mr. Fox worked as a business analyst at Mike’s Hard Lemonade Co., where he focused on interpreting complex datasets and delivering actionable insights to inform key business decisions.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Fox held the position of category manager at The Coca-Cola Company from 2002 to 2007. He also spent over five years at Safeway as a category analyst and category manager from 1995 to 2002. Mr. Fox’s professional journey began previously as a category manager with PIA Merchandising from 1993 to 2002, where he developed foundational expertise in merchandising strategies and client relations.
Mr. Fox’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Washington, completed in 1993. This educational foundation provided him with critical thinking skills and a broad perspective that have supported his analytical approach throughout his career. His credentials as a certified professional strategic analyst at all three levels from the Category Management Association/Shopper Insights Management Association, where he is also a member, further underscore Mr. Fox’s expertise and commitment to excellence.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr. Fox is actively engaged in civic activities and community service. Since 2013, he has served as a soccer coach with Cascade Premier, sharing his passion for the sport while mentoring young athletes, a role that complements his personal milestone of playing soccer for five decades and coaching for three. Mr. Fox also volunteers with the Jerry Woods Holiday Engine, contributing to community initiatives during the holiday season.
In light of his success, Mr. Fox has been recognized with accolades, such as the What You Do Matters Award from Circana in 2024, highlighting his impact within the organization. He attributes much of his success to being detail-oriented, highly organized and adaptable.
