Among a range of responsibilities, Mr. Verma sets up operational foundations to drive delivery optimization across regions, developing and executing comprehensive client strategies for a portfolio exceeding 80 clients, and leading change management initiatives to align resources with evolving client needs. He also reviews client portfolios to determine optimal account management structures based on engagement levels and return on investment, and categorizes clients for U.S.-based or global office support based on strategic requirements. Mr. Verma is dedicated to developing both account management and recruiting teams by providing practical tools and resources for success.
Before joining The Planet Group, Mr. Verma was affiliated with Mastech Digital Inc. for over a decade. He served as an engagement leader for strategic clients from 2021 to 2025. In this role, he managed high-value client relationships and led initiatives that significantly contributed to organizational growth during a transition from staffing to consulting services. Between 2018 and 2021, Mr. Verma was a senior director of digital recruiting and delivery (staffing).
Earlier, Mr. Verma succeeded as the director of digital recruiting and delivery at Mastech Digital Inc. from 2015 to 2018, becoming one of the youngest directors in the company’s history at age 25. His rapid ascent within the organization began in 2012, when he joined as a recruiting manager.
Before his tenure at Mastech Digital Inc., Mr. Verma was the manager of recruiting and delivery at ManpowerGroup in India, a leading global workforce solutions company headquartered in Wisconsin, from 2008 to 2012, where he honed his skills in talent acquisition and team leadership. His early career included serving as a team lead in recruiting at Aequor Technologies in Woodbridge, New Jersey, between 2006 and 2008, marking the beginning of his journey in staffing. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mr. Verma is recognized for his civic-mindedness as a sponsor of the education of three children, an endeavor that reflects his commitment to giving back to society.
Mr. Verma’s academic achievements have played a pivotal role in shaping his career trajectory. He earned a bachelor’s degree in commerce with a focus on accounting from the University of Delhi, completed in 2008, and a Master of Business Administration in human resources management and services from Sikkim Manipal University in 2012. Mr. Verma’s commitment to professional development is further demonstrated by several designations, including Six Sigma white belt certification from the Management and Strategy Institute. He also received credentials in emotional intelligence from Udemy Inc. and in digital marketing from Google.
