He also served as a fire dog technician at Circuit City Corporation Inc. in Montgomeryville, Pennsylvania, and as an engineering technician at Tiger Optics (now Process Insights Inc.) in Warrington, Pennsylvania, dating back to 2001.
Mr. Gulla completed an internship at SPS Technologies, where his father worked, and began working with machinery at age 17. This hands-on experience fostered a passion for flow measurement and instrumentation, fields where he continues to innovate by designing products that address market needs.
Mr. Gulla has held an associate degree in computer engineering technology from the CHI Institute in Philadelphia since 2000. He later acquired an Associate of Science in business administration, with honors, from Gwynedd Mercy University in 2017, followed by a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in organizational management and a Master of Business Administration in strategic management and leadership from Gwynedd Mercy University in 2019 and 2021, respectively. In addition to his formal education, Mr. Gulla’s commitment to lifelong learning is further demonstrated by several credentials, including Microsoft certifications, a Lean Kaizen certification from Brooks Instrument, and a general industry safety and health certification from OSHA Compliance Group Inc.
Mr. Gulla is also recognized for his civic engagement and community service. His longstanding commitment to Manna on Main Street includes roles as a kitchen helper since 2014 and a server since 2016. Mr. Gulla has also been a team member of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults program of the Catholic Church, under the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, since 2022, and a member of the pastoral council at St. Stanislaus’s Church in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, since 2025. Furthermore, he has served as the head coach for the Mater Dei Catholic Youth Organization football program, affiliated with Saint Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church, St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and St. Maria Goretti Parish. Notably, Mr. Gulla earned the rank of Eagle Scout through Scouting America in 1995.
During his tenure at Sierra Instrument Inc., Mr. Gulla authored several influential publications, including ‘RedySmart Mass Flow Controllers for OEMs in Biopharmaceutical and Vaccine Production’ in 2022, ‘2023 Pharma Predictions’ in 2023 and ‘Why Accurate Mass Flow Measurement and Control are Essential in Food and Beverage Processing’ in 2024.
