Before her current role, Ms. Jackson spent over five years at The First Bank, beginning her tenure as a teller and personal banker. Her exceptional customer service skills were recognized through outstanding ratings from mystery shoppers, which led to her promotion to the community development department. Ms. Jackson briefly contributed to the compliance department before returning to community development, where she dedicated herself to advancing the bank’s outreach initiatives. Throughout her professional journey, she has become an expert in corporate social responsibility, consistently striving to make a positive impact on those around her.

Ms. Jackson’s academic background has played a significant role in shaping her career achievements. She earned an associate degree in criminal justice from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in Perkinston, a Bachelor of Arts in American history and pre-law studies from Mississippi State University in Jackson in 2010, and a Master of Arts in American history from Southern New Hampshire University in Durham in 2021. Her educational pursuits have provided her with a strong foundation in critical thinking and public service, which have been instrumental to her success in the banking industry and community engagement.

In light of her success, Ms. Jackson has earned numerous accolades and honors. In 2020, she was inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success and was named an honoree by Trademark Women of Distinction in Who’s Who, a career highlight that included an interview, a plaque, a press release and a card commemorating her achievement. Ms. Jackson was also recognized with both the Charisma Award and a Dedication and Commitment Award by the Mississippi Black Leadership Institute in 2023.

Ms. Jackson attributes her accomplishments to her faith, the unwavering support of her family as the youngest of nine siblings, her church family, friends, co-workers and her deep-seated desire to help others. Although she did not initially aspire to work in banking, she embraced opportunities as they arose and discovered a passion for serving her community through financial services.

Eager for the future, Ms. Jackson remains dedicated to making a difference both professionally and personally. She aspires to become an attorney and is committed to building resources, such as a Boys and Girls Club, a homeless shelter and programs supporting small businesses within her community. She also envisions expanding her church to better serve residents. Ms. Jackson’s career is marked by leadership, service and an enduring commitment to uplifting those around her through both professional excellence and civic engagement.
