Earlier, Mr. Ewetuya excelled at TechnipFMC plc as a project interface manager from 2011 to 2025. During his tenure, he was instrumental in coordinating complex engineering projects, facilitating communication between stakeholders and ensuring project milestones were met efficiently. Mr. Ewetuya’s role required a deep understanding of both technical and managerial aspects, which he developed through years of experience in engineering and management.
Mr. Ewetuya’s career began in engineering, first as a design engineer at Pegasus International from 2007 to 2010, where he developed technical solutions for offshore projects. He then advanced to the position of project engineer at UniversalPegasus International between 2010 and 2011, overseeing project execution and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Mr. Ewetuya’s academic background has played a pivotal role in shaping his career trajectory. He earned a Bachelor of Science in ocean engineering from Texas A&M University in Texarkana in 2007. He also received both a graduate certificate in management and a Master of Business Administration from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, U.K., in 2011 and 2014, respectively.
Throughout his professional journey, Mr. Ewetuya has been an active member of industry organizations, including the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the National Association of Minority Contractors. Beyond his professional commitments, Mr. Ewetuya has contributed to civic life through service on the leadership committee at Christ Church in New York City.
