Reporting directly to the vice president of the enterprise resource planning fintech organization, she oversees a team of architects and engineers who support enterprise systems in the fintech sector. Ms. Howard’s responsibilities include managing multiple concurrent projects and collaborating closely with engineering teams to drive agile transformation and enhance applications and platforms. In addition to her core duties, she is recognized for her leadership within the company’s diversity initiatives, serving as a global lead of The Queer Collective since 2024.
Before joining MongoDB, Ms. Howard was a senior program manager for enterprise technology at Peloton Interactive, Inc., in New York from 2021 to 2023. In this capacity, she played a pivotal role in advancing the company’s technological infrastructure and fostering an inclusive workplace culture through her involvement with Pride at Peloton, the company’s LGBTQ+ resource group. Ms. Howard initially joined Peloton in 2020 as a project manager for SAP implementation, where she led critical business transformation initiatives.
From 2017 to 2019, Ms. Howard contributed her expertise as a project manager for business and information technology processes in value management at Inventy, now SOA People, in Brooklyn, New York. Her earlier tenure at SAP spanned several roles over nearly a decade, between 2008 and 2017. From 2008 to 2012, Ms. Howard was a consultant for SAP North America in information technology service management and service delivery. She then served as a senior support engineer, providing high-level technical support and guidance on complex system issues between 2013 and 2015, and as the center of excellence program service delivery lead from 2015 to 2017 in the Greater New York City area.
Ms. Howard’s earlier career included significant achievements at Southco Inc. Hired as a global supply chain and operations manager in 1998, she remained in this position for 10 years at the company’s Glen Mills, Pennsylvania, location. During this time, she was brought to the United States specifically to establish an automated warehouse for latch fastening products, a project completed ahead of schedule and under budget that centralized inventory from multiple locations across the Northeast United States into a single facility. This initiative significantly improved on-time delivery rates and product quality and reduced overhead costs, making it one of her most successful professional accomplishments. Ms. Howard simultaneously served as a project lead for SAP implementations from 2006 to 2008, directing large-scale enterprise resource planning deployments for Southco Inc. that streamlined operations across global sites.
Ms. Howard’s academic foundation includes a bachelor’s degree in operations management and supervision from the University of Warwick, earned in 1995. She further distinguished herself through professional credentials that underscore her commitment to excellence in project management and logistics. Ms. Howard holds certifications as a Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance D-A-CH e.V. and as a project management professional from the Project Management Institute. She is also ITIL 4 certified.
Active in her field, Ms. Howard has held a chartered membership with the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport since 1995. Her commitment extends into civic engagement and mentorship within the technology community. Since 2024, she has served as the global lead of The Queer Collective at MongoDB. She has also served as a mentor with LGBT Tech since 2025, supporting emerging LGBTQ+ talent. Ms. Howard’s advocacy work was previously highlighted by her efforts during Transgender Awareness Week while at MongoDB, when she united representatives from both the technology sector and armed forces to share their experiences navigating life as transgender individuals. These initiatives provided hope and visibility for members of the LGBTQ+ community. Additionally, Ms. Howard has supported the Center Against Domestic Violence by donating knitted baby blankets.
