Mr. Carver’s professional journey is marked by a diverse and accomplished career spanning military service, business management and the mortgage industry. His current role as a branch manager at Premier Lending Inc., which he began in 2025, reflects his commitment to leadership and client service. In this capacity, Mr. Carver’s daily routine includes maintaining a disciplined start to his day with coffee and reflection, engaging with industry resources such as the “Loan Officer Breakfast Club” podcast, and managing a dynamic workflow that encompasses writing for the company blog, scheduling podcasts and dedicating significant time to outbound sales. He also actively connects with realtors, probate attorneys and finance professionals, ensuring robust business development. Collaboration with his team is central to Mr. Carver’s approach, as he works closely with colleagues to solve problems and guide clients through the home-buying process.
Before joining Premier Lending Inc., Mr. Carver served as a mortgage loan officer at Success Mortgage Partners from 2023 to 2025. His earlier experience included roles as a mortgage loan officer at US Mortgage Lenders LLC between 2022 and 2023, at Synergy One Lending Inc. in 2022, and at Texana Bank from 2020 to 2022. In these roles, Mr. Carver honed his expertise in loan origination and client relations, building a reputation for reliability and results-driven service. He also developed proficiency in residential lending products, including VA loans, a field in which he has achieved recognized expertise.
Before entering the mortgage sector, Mr. Carver held several positions in business development and operations management at MediaMerge and Mercury Flight between 2010 and 2019. Earlier in his career, he served as a plant manager at Dan-Loc Group from 2008 to 2009.
Mr. Carver’s foundation of discipline and leadership was established during his distinguished military service as a captain in the U.S. Army from 1991 to 2008. His tenure included numerous responsibilities and culminated in being awarded the Bronze Star for meritorious achievement.
Mr. Carver’s transition into the mortgage industry was both unconventional and serendipitous. After retiring from the Army, Mr. Carver returned to Florida, uncertain about his next steps. He began driving for Uber to maintain flexibility while exploring new opportunities. A pivotal encounter occurred during his final Uber ride when a passenger, who owned a mortgage bank, recognized Mr. Carver’s potential during their conversation and encouraged him to pursue a career in mortgage lending. Within 45 days, Mr. Carver obtained his mortgage license and embarked on a new professional path that has since become both fulfilling and successful.
Following high school, Mr. Carver obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Bible with a minor in English literature from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene in 2000. He later became a licensed mortgage broker in 2020. Today, Mr. Carver is an active member of several industry organizations, including Veteran Mortgage Advisors and the Women’s Council of Realtors in Florida, reflecting his commitment to professional development and networking within the field.
Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Carver is deeply committed to civic engagement and philanthropy. He is involved with organizations like Canopy of Hope and Carrollton Young Life, supporting initiatives that benefit local communities. Among Mr. Carver’s most notable personal accomplishments has been cultivating an extensive garden each year that provides fresh produce to between 60 and 70 families on a first-come, first-served basis. This effort not only supports those facing food insecurity but also reflects his dedication to giving back.
In addition to receiving the Bronze Star from the U.S. Army for exemplary service, Mr. Carver achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, an early testament to his leadership abilities. Throughout his career, he has attributed his success to surrounding himself with individuals who share his values professionally, personally and spiritually. Mr. Carver believes that one becomes the sum of the five people they spend the most time with, a philosophy that has guided him through each stage of his journey.
Looking ahead, Mr. Carver seeks to expand his mortgage team while maintaining a strong focus on charitable giving by allocating a portion of his income to philanthropic causes. Throughout his life, from military service to financial services, he has been recognized for loyalty, problem-solving acumen and an unwavering commitment to client-centered solutions. Mr. Carver consistently prioritizes the needs of home buyers, refinancers and realtors alike, striving to deliver value through active engagement and support that extends beyond transactional relationships.
