The Illinois-based company provides innovative solutions to clients in the enterprise, public safety, state and local government, education and utility sectors. Between 2023 and 2024, Mr. Beem excelled as the public sector enterprise account manager at Elastic, a search artificial intelligence company based in California.
From 2019 to 2023, Mr. Beem worked at Fortinet Inc., beginning as a strategic alliances sales representative, pivoting to a territory account manager in 2021, and serving as a named account manager between 2021 and 2023. Among other influential roles, he served as a regional sales manager at Network Perception in Dallas in 2021, focusing on cybersecurity solutions for critical infrastructure clients. Mr. Beem also worked as an enterprise account executive at Cylance Inc. in the Dallas-Fort Worth area from 2018 to 2019 and as an account executive at Symantec between 2013 and 2018.
Before entering the private sector, Mr. Beem worked internationally as a foreman for KBR Inc. in Kirkuk, Iraq, in 2011. His professional journey began with eight years of service as a fuels specialist in the U.S. Air Force based in Sacramento, California, from 2003 to 2011, a period he regards as one of the most formative experiences of his life.
Mr. Beem’s academic background included coursework in criminal justice and corrections at Monmouth University in New Jersey. Although he initially attended bible college with aspirations to become a missionary, he later pursued studies in criminal psychology, which ultimately guided him toward a fulfilling career in information technology.
Active in his professional community, Mr. Beem has been affiliated with IFAA and DEF CON. In addition to his professional achievements, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to civic engagement and volunteerism. He is a member of his local chamber of commerce and has served on the safety team at Church Eleven32 since 2018. Mr. Beem previously served as the U.S. Central chapter lead for the FortiVet Program from 2019 to 2023, was the vice president of the Monmouth University Veterans Association between 2009 and 2010, and volunteered with organizations such as Wings For Hope and Toys 4 Tots between 2004 and 2006.
Among his accolades, Mr. Beem was recognized with a Representative of the Quarter Award. He credits his supportive spouse, his faith and his unwavering determination to do what is right as foundational influences on his success.
