Title: Senior Director of Information Technology Infrastructure

Joel A. Reyes, Senior Director of Information Technology Infrastructure, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements and leadership in Information Technology.

Mr. Reyes is a technology executive specializing in enterprise infrastructure, cloud transformation, and operational resilience. As a senior director of information technology infrastructure, he has led the design, modernization, and governance of global IT environments supporting rapid business growth, acquisitions, and mission-critical operations.

Based in New Jersey, Mr. Reyes has built and scaled enterprise infrastructure platforms that directly enable business expansion. He has overseen large-scale transformations from legacy environments to structured, multi-cloud architectures—establishing governance frameworks across Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS, along with hybrid identity and cybersecurity domains. His leadership has supported organizational growth from hundreds to thousands of employees while maintaining stability, security, and performance across global operations.

A defining chapter in Mr. Reyes’ career was his role as a system engineer supporting Joint Task Force Guantanamo (JTF-GTMO) at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, the U.S. military base utilized during Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). This was one of the most operationally sensitive and security-critical environments in the world, where infrastructure was not simply a support function; it was mission-essential to national security operations.

In this zero-failure environment, systems were required to be secure, continuously available, and fully compliant under strict military and federal controls. There was no margin for error. Downtime was not an inconvenience—it was a risk to mission execution. This required disciplined execution, rigorous change management, and absolute accountability in every action taken.

That experience fundamentally shaped Mr. Reyes’s leadership philosophy: structured operations, proactive risk mitigation, and calm, decisive execution under pressure. It established the foundation for how he approaches enterprise infrastructure today, treating uptime, security, and resilience as business-critical imperatives, not technical afterthoughts.

Mr. Reyes carried this mindset into the private sector, where he has led more than 160 enterprise infrastructure initiatives and navigated critical inflection points, including full operational recovery from a ransomware incident within 36 hours, enterprise-wide rebrands with zero downtime, and rapid workforce transitions to remote operations at scale. He has also driven significant cost optimization efforts, reducing infrastructure and circuit spend by hundreds of thousands annually while improving performance and resilience.

As a strategic technology leader, Mr. Reyes bridges the gap between infrastructure and business outcomes. He partners with executive leadership to align IT strategy with growth objectives, reduce operational risk, and ensure organizations are prepared to scale, withstand disruption, and respond to evolving cybersecurity threats.
