Before tenure at Berkshire Hathaway Inc., Ms. Giombetti provided impactful work in Tennessee supporting returning Vietnam veterans who faced addiction challenges. This formative experience instilled in her a deep sense of empathy and dedication to helping others navigate complex circumstances. Earlier, Ms. Giombetti worked in a women’s prison in Washington. Ultimately, she relocated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to begin her new career in real estate. This transition was inspired by her own success subdividing and selling a 10-acre property with a house in Washington. Independently managing the subdivision and sale of her property demonstrated her capability and motivated her to pursue a career where she could help others achieve similar goals.
Highly educated, Ms. Giombetti earned a bachelor’s degree from Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, South Dakota, and a master’s degree in psychology from Eastern College in St. Davids, Pennsylvania. The foundation provided by her psychology studies has been instrumental throughout her career, equipping her with the insight needed to support clients through emotionally charged decisions and transitions. Ms. Giombetti has also been a licensed real estate broker in Pennsylvania and South Carolina for more than 40 years, which has enabled her to maintain the highest standards of professionalism and ethical practice within the industry. Furthermore, she holds a senior real estate specialist and Graduate REALTOR Institute designations.
In addition to her professional achievements, Ms. Giombetti is an active member of the Junior League, reflecting her ongoing commitment to community engagement and leadership. The nonprofit volunteer organization comprises women who lead, serve and strive to make a meaningful impact in their communities.
