In addition to his executive responsibilities, Mr. Draper has excelled as an architect and project manager at JSRa Architects since 2006, contributing to the firm’s growth and reputation long before taking ownership. As such, Mr. Draper has been credited for delivering high-quality architectural solutions tailored to complex client needs.

Before his tenure at JSRa Architects, Mr. Draper was a project manager at Highton Company from 2005 to 2006. During this period, he honed his skills in project oversight and team coordination, laying the groundwork for his future leadership roles. Earlier, Mr. Draper served as a project manager at Burlini/Silberschlag, Ltd., for nearly a decade, between 1996 to 2005, where he gained valuable experience managing diverse architectural projects and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Mr. Draper’s academic foundation was established with a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Arizona in Tucson in 1999. He also became licensed to practice architecture in Arizona, Utah and New Mexico. Additionally, Mr. Draper earned certification through the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, a distinction that underscores his commitment to professional excellence.

Active in his professional community, Mr. Draper is affiliated as a member of the American Indian Council of Architects and Engineers, the American Indian Science and Engineering Society, the Southern Arizona chapter of the International Code Council and The American Institute of Architects. These affiliations have provided him with opportunities for professional development and collaboration with peers dedicated to advancing architectural standards.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Draper demonstrates a commitment to social responsibility through annual donations to DigDeep, an organization that provides access to clean water to communities in need. His philanthropic efforts reflect a broader dedication to improving the quality of life both locally and globally.

Looking ahead, Mr. Draper aspires to expand his impact by undertaking more projects that benefit Indigenous individuals worldwide. He also seeks continued business success, additional professional memberships, such as with the Project Management Institute or similar organizations, and succession plans within his firm so that he may eventually slow down and pursue further travel opportunities.
