Before the launch of XA³, Mr. Mazzoni excelled in his leading role as the director of client operations at SolutionsATI Consulting, Inc., a California-based management and information technology services consulting firm, from 2020 to 2025. During this period, he oversaw client relationships and operational processes from his Raleigh, North Carolina, location.
Between 2018 and 2020, Mr. Mazzoni served as a software integration program manager at ASML in San Diego, California. In this position, he managed large-scale software integration initiatives, ensuring seamless collaboration between engineering teams and clients for the international leader in the global semiconductor industry. Mr. Mazzoni’s tenure at ASML began in 2017 as a plasma control senior project manager.
Mr. Mazzoni’s professional journey is deeply rooted in his distinguished military service. He served as a lieutenant commander with the Military Sealift Command Expeditionary Port Unit 114 in the U.S. Navy Reserve at Point Loma, California, from 2017 to 2018. Before this assignment, he was a lieutenant and surface search and rescue program manager as well as chief of naval operations search and rescue model manager for the U.S. Navy in Coronado, California, between 2014 and 2016. Mr. Mazzoni’s earlier roles included lieutenant and navigator aboard the USS John Paul Jones (DDG 53) in San Diego, and a lieutenant junior grade and anti-submarine warfare officer on the USS Curtis Wilbur (DDG 54) in Yokosuka, Japan, following his initial assignment as ensign and electrical officer on the USS Curtis Wilbur from 2010 to 2011.
Mr. Mazzoni’s academic foundation was established at the U.S. Naval Academy, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in naval architecture and marine engineering in 2010. The rigorous education he received provided him with technical expertise and a disciplined approach that have been invaluable throughout his career.
Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Mazzoni’s commitment extends to civic engagement as a volunteer with the Foundation of HOPE, where he contributes to community well-being. The nonprofit organization provides a continuum of care to newly released incarcerated individuals.
One of the most significant highlights of Mr. Mazzoni’s career has been the lasting impact he has made on those he has managed and led. He finds fulfillment in helping others and making a meaningful difference, as evidenced by the many individuals who have returned to express their gratitude for his guidance and support.
Among his professional accolades, Mr. Mazzoni was recognized as one of the Top 100 Digital Adoption Platform Professionals by WalkMe in 2024, a testament to his influence in the technology sector. He also received several commendations throughout his military career, recognizing his exceptional leadership and commitment to service. Among them, Mr. Mazzoni received a U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps Commendation Medal, two U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps Achievement Medals, a Humanitarian Service Medal, a Joint Meritorious Unit Award, four Sea Service Deployment Ribbons and two Overseas Service Medals.
Mr. Mazzoni’s dedication to people management began early in his career when he was entrusted with leading a division shortly after being commissioned, a responsibility that shaped his approach to leadership across all subsequent roles. He attributes much of his success to prioritizing people above all else, a philosophy shaped by formative experiences in the military.
Looking ahead, Mr. Mazzoni aims to make a significant impact within the technology sector by enhancing how individuals interact with technology, particularly within health care, to improve quality of life and care outcomes.
