Since 2013, he has served as the director of software engineering at Walmart Inc., overseeing large-scale engineering teams and contributing to the company’s technological advancement. In 2023, Mr. Ramnani also assumed the role of director of software engineering at Walmart Global Tech, further expanding his influence within the organization by leading innovative projects and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
Affiliated with Walmart Global Tech since 2018, Mr. Ramnani began his career with the organization as a senior manager at the company headquarters in Bentonville, Arkansas, where his role involved merchandising, data strategy and insights. From 2021 to 2023, he served as a senior manager II at Walmart Global Tech, overseeing the engineering team that contributed to the development of an advanced data platform for Walmart Luminate.
Before joining Walmart, Mr. Ramnani was a senior manager at Cognizant, also based in Bentonville, between 2013 and 2018. His earlier experience included serving as a technical lead at Centene Corporation in St. Louis, Missouri, from 2011 to 2013, where he led critical health care technology projects. Among other roles, Mr. Ramnani worked as an engineering manager for the state of Ohio, overseeing public-sector technology initiatives and ensuring that projects aligned with state objectives from 2010 to 2011. His professional journey began at Tata Consultancy Services, where he was an account manager from 2004 to 2010. There, he managed client relationships and delivered customized IT solutions across diverse industries.
Mr. Ramnani is recognized as an expert in business development, having demonstrated exceptional skill in identifying growth opportunities and executing strategies that deliver measurable results. In addition to his primary work obligations, he has served on the board of directors of Verma and Associates, a real estate company in Gravette, Arkansas, since 2020. Previously, Mr. Ramnani held a position on the board of advisers at Reborn Technologies.
A highlight of Mr. Ramnani’s career has been building a construction business from the ground up, despite not having a construction background. What started as a real estate investment opportunity evolved into a comprehensive operation under his leadership, where he designed floor plans, selected builders and contractors, and managed all aspects of development. This venture achieved over 200% profit within five years and grew into a multi-million-dollar enterprise that Mr. Ramnani continues to oversee end-to-end.
Mr. Ramnani’s academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Engineering in information technology from Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalaya in Bhopal, India, in 2004. While attending college, he developed a database application for his school and co-founded a small software venture with classmates that provided custom applications to local businesses.
Beyond his work-related ventures, Mr. Ramnani has been committed to civic engagement as the president and as a board member of The Connected Wagon and as a board member for Cricket for America since 2017, both nonprofit organizations. He also frequently volunteers with the American Red Cross, reflecting his commitment to community service. More recently, Mr. Ramnani began serving as the executive director of the Arkansas Association of Asian Businesses (AAAB) in 2025. In this capacity, he is responsible for driving the organization’s financial performance and overseeing all operational aspects of events and activities. Through the AAAB, he has been integral in fostering inclusivity and showcasing Asian businesses as integral to the community’s success and ability to flourish.
Mr. Ramnani attributes much of his professional success to his wife, whose vision for real estate investment inspired him to pursue entrepreneurship beyond corporate roles in information technology. Together, they have significantly expanded their investments and now own more than 100 units, a testament to their shared commitment to long-term wealth-building.
Looking ahead, Mr. Ramnani aims to scale both Verma and Associates and the Arkansas Association of Asian Businesses into leading organizations in their respective sectors, while expanding property management operations and substantially growing construction revenues. He also remains committed to supporting emerging entrepreneurs alongside his wife, ensuring their legacy endures through meaningful mentorship and community impact.
