Since 2025, he has served as the global transformation and enablement executive director at Kenvue in Skillman, New Jersey, where he is responsible for ensuring business readiness for incoming teams through procurement, driving effective communication and operational change management for the chief operating officer, and managing substantial portions of acquisitions. In this capacity, Mr. Bolden has launched advanced, artificial intelligence-driven connectivity initiatives that have transformed business operations, built three distinct teams within the operations community, and established governance frameworks that clarify plans and objectives.
In his current role, Mr. Bolden has consolidated 12 large initiatives into six integrated programs, ensuring interconnectivity and resource optimization. He has also overseen training and resources to enhance team performance, developed communication strategies to facilitate operational changes, and driven business success through strategic financial planning and timing. As a primary communicator, Mr. Bolden aligns leadership at all levels to ensure informed decision-making and organizational clarity.
Hired by Kenvue in 2023, Mr. Bolden continues to maintain the role of global operations essential health segment leader alongside his responsibilities as executive director. Here, he has continued to build on his operations expertise while fostering an inclusive environment that supports employee growth and development.
From 2020 to 2023, Mr. Bolden served as a senior director and global leader of the essential health segment in the innovation management office at Johnson & Johnson. Recruited to Johnson & Johnson from Ingersoll Rand, he spent 2013 to 2020 in various leadership capacities, beginning as a focused factory manager and working his way into the roles of plant manager and business leader for the commercial product growth team and for the residential product growth team. Mr. Bolden’s expertise enabled him to manage large-scale teams and drive operational improvements that contributed to the company’s success.
Mr. Bolden’s earlier tenure included a position at Johnson Controls Automotive Interiors as plant manager for operations, where he worked closely with the U.S. Department of Defense under a top-secret clearance, developing vehicles for the U.S. Army. He also worked at Laurel Inc. as a project engineer and owned his own business, Illustrator Management, where he served as both a consultant and mentor. These early experiences laid the foundation for Mr. Bolden’s later achievements by instilling a strong work ethic and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Mr. Bolden earned a Bachelor of Arts in applied social science from Rider University in 2015. He also completed an executive leadership program at the University of Michigan and coursework in engineering technology with a focus on mechanical engineering at Lawrence Technological University. Beyond his formal education, Mr. Bolden has received numerous certifications, including in production and inventory management from APICS, now the Association for Supply Chain Management, as a nine-step problem-solving coach and certified lean leader from Ingersoll Rand, and as a project management professional from the Project Management Institute. These credentials have been instrumental throughout his career.
Mr. Bolden has been actively involved in industry organizations, such as serving on the advisory board of the Personal Care Products Council, participating in the next generation advisers board of the Consumer Healthcare Product Association, and contributing to the next generation growth committee on diversity, equity and inclusion for the National Association for Health Professionals. Moreover, he maintains affiliations with the Association for Supply Chain Management and the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering.
Aside from his work-related endeavors, Mr. Bolden’s dedication has extended to civic engagement, where he has served as an executive sponsor at Kenvue since 2021 and leads both Black at Kenvue and the African American Leadership Council. He also mentors emerging professionals through organizations such as Kenvue, Illustrator Management, the Personal Care Products Council and the Consumer Healthcare Product Association.
Mr. Bolden’s accomplishments have been recognized with numerous awards, including over 10 Inspire Awards for inclusion and operational excellence at Johnson & Johnson and several President Awards for operational excellence, inclusion and diversity, and inspiring progress. He also received a Chief Executive Officer Recognition Award for Employee Engagement at Ingersoll Rand.
Mr. Bolden’s journey from humble beginnings through adversity has shaped his belief that education opens doors, but it is one’s skills that sustain long-term success. As a leader who has managed teams ranging from three to approximately 2,300 individuals, he takes pride not only in achieving meaningful goals but also in mentoring others to reach their potential. Mr. Bolden is especially proud of his ongoing role as an executive sponsor and chapter lead for organizational impact networks, where he fosters a sense of belonging among employees. Looking ahead, he aims to continue expanding his influence by advancing into senior executive roles within medium- or large-sized organizations while remaining dedicated to empowering others along their own journeys toward success.
