Since 2016, Ms. Gentile has served as a partner specializing in global transfer pricing strategies at Withum Smith+Brown, PC. In this capacity, she has been instrumental in building the firm’s transfer pricing service line from the ground up. When she joined Withum, transfer pricing was a relatively unknown discipline within the organization. Through her vision and determination, Ms. Gentile established best practices, recruited and managed a specialized team, and significantly increased the firm’s brand awareness. Her efforts have not only elevated Withum’s profile but also contributed to its growth as a Top 20 accounting firm approaching $1 billion in revenue.

Additionally, Ms. Gentile leads transfer pricing initiatives for the HLB International network across 150 countries and serves on its international tax committee. Her influence extends beyond internal operations, recognized for her thought leadership through speaking engagements at industry events and conferences, as well as her high-profile consulting work on multinational pricing, global expansion diligence and tariff mitigation strategies.

Before her tenure at Withum Smith+Brown, PC, Ms. Gentile worked as an independent contractor specializing in transfer pricing at AlixPartners, LLP, in New York from 2014 to 2015. In this role, she provided expert consulting services to clients navigating complex international tax regulations and cross-border business challenges.

Between 2010 and 2014, Ms. Gentile served as the director of transfer pricing at Thomson Reuters in Stamford, Connecticut. There, she was responsible for developing and implementing transfer pricing solutions for multinational clients, further honing her expertise in global compliance and strategic planning.

Ms. Gentile’s foundational experience was gained during her 15-year tenure as a senior manager of transfer pricing at KPMG in New York from 1994 to 2009. At the global accounting firm, she worked across various international settings, laying the groundwork for her specialization in transfer pricing and gaining invaluable exposure to diverse business environments.

Playing a pivotal role in her professional success, Ms. Gentile earned a Bachelor of Science in international business from Northeastern University in 1991 and an International Master of Business Administration in international business from the University of South Carolina in 1994. Her upbringing deeply influenced her educational pursuits as a first-generation American with Italian parents who instilled in her a strong work ethic and appreciation for cultural diversity. These values fueled Ms. Gentile’s interest in international business and inspired her to pursue advanced studies in the field.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Ms. Gentile is civically engaged through initiatives such as Withum Week of Caring at Withum Smith+Brown, PC, reflecting her commitment to giving back to the community. She has also been recognized with the Global Transfer Pricing Leader award for her outstanding contributions to the field.
