As the only woman in the landscaping sector in West Georgia, Ms. Bearden brings a unique perspective to her field. Notably, she played a key role in designing and installing a 5,000-square-foot playset at retired NFL football player Cam Newton’s property and partnered with Make-A-Wish Foundation of America to install playsets for children facing critical illnesses. During the park closures in 2020, Ms. Bearden led her team in adapting by creating fenced play areas with comfortable seating, ensuring families had safe spaces to gather.
Apart from her work in the concrete and landscaping sectors, Ms. Bearden was an agent with Georgia West Realty from 2015 to 2025. During this decade-long tenure, she developed a comprehensive understanding of real estate transactions and client relations, further enhancing her ability to serve clients with empathy and professionalism.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Bearden worked as a hairstylist at Supercuts, a division of Regis Corporation. Her years as a salon manager were marked by extensive training and workshops that honed her leadership and team management skills, abilities she continues to apply across her businesses today.
Ms. Bearden is an active member of several industry-related organizations, including the National Association of Landscape Professionals, the National Federation of Independent Business, the West Metro Board of Realtors and the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce. Civically, she has dedicated time to nursing animals back to health on her farm, volunteering at the Carroll County Soup Kitchen, THS and Impact West Georgia, supporting Make-A-Wish Foundation of America projects, and working with homeless shelters and food pantries to ensure those experiencing homelessness have safe places to stay. From 1996 to 2009, Ms. Bearden volunteered as a builder and designer with Habitat for Humanity International.
In recognition of her professional achievements, Ms. Bearden has received numerous awards, including recognition from Bowdon High School within Carroll County School District, a Paul Harris Fellow Award from Rotary Foundation, recognition with Best in Landscaping for Carroll County in 2023, 2022 and 2021, and additional recognition with Best of Georgia in Landscaping in 2025. Ms. Bearden credits much of her approach to business and community engagement to lessons learned from her parents. Her father was a doctor who operated his own medical practice, often collaborating with attorneys who would assist patients unable to afford care by exchanging services for goods rather than money. Observing these interactions taught Ms. Bearden that individuals should always come before business, a principle that continues to guide her work.
