Tia Lyles-Williams, MS, MRSc, Founder and Chief Executive Officer at LucasPye BIO, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership.
After losing her mother to cancer, Ms. Lyles-Williams knew she wanted to pursue a career in healthcare. Hoping to do everything in her power to keep others from experiencing the same misfortune, she attended Howard University, earning a Bachelor of Science in biology with a minor in chemistry. In 2012, she acquired a master’s in the entertainment business from Full Sail University, going on to acquire a Master of Science in Repertory Care in regulatory science from the University of Southern California.
Early in her career, Ms. Lyles-Williams gained experience at Howard University, the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, and RYLA Teleservices. This provided her with the necessary experience to gradually begin taking on roles of higher responsibility, including that of the senior manager at Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Remaining there through 2018, Ms. Lyles-Williams became the founder and chief executive officer at LucasPye BIO, LLC that year. She has continued to excel in her role since then, attributing her success to her perseverance, focus, and tenacity. Further, her passion for her work is never-ending. As a testament to her success, she earned the Spot Award from Avid Bioservices, Inc. in 2016, which joins her collection of earlier honors. These include, but are not limited to, a Certificate of Appreciation from California State University, the title of Quality Person of the Month from Peregrine Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and numerous awards and recognition from the National Science Foundation. Looking toward the future, Ms. Lyles-Williams hopes to get married and have children.
