Having accrued over two decades of experience, Mr. Mendhi is a rising leader in the fields of technological development and health care. Since 2019, he has served as the chief operation officer of Exponential AI. The company is headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and specializes in developing artificial intelligence (AI) technology to enhance the health care industry. In 2022, Mr. Mendhi took on the position of president of the company.
Prior to his current appointments, Mr. Mendhi operated as the vice president and practice leader at Highmark Inc. from 2015 to 2019. Furthermore, he worked with Deloitte Consulting in two separate managerial roles from 2010 until 2015 and WellCare Health Plans Inc. as the director of provider services and business process improvement between 2008 and 2010. He began his career in 2001, holding the position of strategic planning consultant at Mott MacDonald until 2004. As part of his commitment to his profession, Mr. Mendhi has also remained affiliated with the Olin Finance Club and the Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital Club.
Before embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. Mendhi pursued a formal education, beginning at the University of Mumbai, where he earned a Bachelor of Education in mechanical engineering in 2001. He subsequently continued his studies at Washington University in St. Louis, where he achieved a Master of Business Administration in strategy and finance in 2006. In addition to his academic credentials, he was certified in AI in healthcare at Harvard Medical School in 2010. Adjacent to his primary professional endeavors, Mr. Mendhi has also dedicated himself to civic advocacy, regularly volunteering with numerous emergency conservation groups. To commemorate his achievements, he has been honored with several accolades throughout his career, including being named in the Top 100 Healthcare Leaders and as the Most Influential Young Leader by Asia One in 2021.
Accounting for his many accomplishments, Mr. Mendhi attributes much of his success to his desire to continue improving himself, as well as the love and support of his family. As an engineer, he loves solving problems and has found many to tackle in his chosen fields. In light of his fulfilling career, he is most notably proud of his work with Exponential AI, where he and his colleagues are transforming perceptions of AI, especially in connection with the health care industry. In the coming years, Mr. Mendhi hopes to lead a global enterprise that oversees innovative health care practices and technologies.
