Prior to his current appointment, he served as the margin manager for Corporate Express Inc. from 2004 to 2006, having originally joined the company in 2001 as a credit manager. Mr. O’Quin originally gained a wealth of experience working as a wire manufacturing controller at various facilities, which he continues to leverage today.
Prior to embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. O’Quin pursued a formal education at Louisiana State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in business management in 1985. Additionally, he is certified in supply chain management by Accenture. Adjacent to his primary duties, he also remains active as a civic-minded citizen, regularly participating with Goodwill Industries International Inc. and Habitat for Humanity. Attributing much of his success to his intuitive nature and straightforward problem-solving skills, Mr. O’Quin is notably proud to have assisted in the acquisition of Corporate Express Inc. by Staples Inc., and in the coming years, he hopes to become the director of operations of his company.
