Adam Joseph Gross, PhD, MBA, Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Avenues to Independence and Principal Consultant at AJG Analytics LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in business administration and data science.
In preparation for his career pursuits, Dr. Gross attended Dominican University, graduating in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in organizational leadership. He went on to attend DeVry University and earned a Master of Business Administration from the school’s Keller University of Management in 2014. In 2020, Dr. Gross concluded his higher education with a Doctor of Philosophy in business psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
Alongside his formal degrees, Dr. Gross holds a certificate in data science with SQL and Tableau from Cornell University, which he earned in 2022. In 2021, he earned a postgraduate certificate in data science and business analytics from The University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business. Since 2022, he has been employed as the vice president of finance and chief financial officer of Avenues to Independence in Park Ridge, Illinois, and additionally works as the chief data scientist for Massachusetts Monarchs.
An accomplished and diverse professional, Dr. Gross is a lead data scientist with The Aces Network and an adjunct professor at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. He has been a principal consultant with AJG Analytics LLC since 2018 and was a finance manager for the Chicago Sinai Congregation from 2021 to 2022. Dr. Gross boasts a wealth of varied career experience, including working for Susan G. Komen – Chicago as an accounting coordinator and Shelter Inc. as the chief financial officer.
Dr. Gross has been the chair of the fundraising committee and vice president of education with Shir Hadash since 2021. He maintains memberships in Sigma Beta Delta, the Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society, and IVY: The Social University. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, fishing, hiking, camping, reading, and listening to music. Dr. Gross attributes his success to his grit, passion, and perseverance, and in the coming years, he hopes to see the growth of his company, AJG Analytics.
