In his current post, Mr. Lathon finds new projects and interacts with government agencies to find business opportunities. He holds myriad professional certifications in areas including cybersecurity, occupational safety and health, construction management, and entrepreneurial studies, which he earned at multiple institutions, including Florida State University, Syracuse University, Northeastern University, and Columbia Southern University. Mr. Lathon attended Sullivan University, earning an Associate of Science in logistics and distribution management in 2010, and graduated from Strayer University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in acquisition and contract management.
Mr. Lathon attributes his success to his ability to assemble a team of experienced and skilled professionals. He is proud to have created a group that enjoys working together and accomplished high-quality work. Among his career highlights, he is proudest of building the CLC Rehab Center at the U.S. Veteran’s Administration hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Aaecon General Contracting is a disabled veteran certified company and an 8(a) certified company, allowing government agencies to work directly with them. In his spare time, Mr. Lathon enjoys exercise and martial arts. In the coming years, he plans to diversify the services offered by his company and continue his relationship with government agencies.
