He is also the author of “America’s Last Gold Rush: Your Guide to Working with Venture Capital Firms,” which was published in 2014. Additionally, he continues to publish white papers on the financial industry.
Prior to embarking on his professional career, Mr. Nienaber earned a bachelor’s degree in business and broadcasting from California State University, Chico in 1989 and completed coursework focused on business and marketing at San Jose State University in 1987. He has accrued a number of certifications related to his industry, including Retirement Income Certified Professional, Chartered Financial Consultant and Chartered Life Underwriter, all from The American College of Financial Services. Additionally, he earned the qualifications necessary to be a Registered Principal.
Mr. Nienaber has been bestowed with a variety of noteworthy awards relating to his success and positive influence in his industry. He received the Lifetime Achievement Award from Money 2.0 in 2022, as well as an Al Global Media International Award and an Excellence in Financial Services Award from the U.S. Department of Commerce.
