Robbie L. Valentine, Senior Director of Sales at ASM Global, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in management and sales.
Since 2009, Mr. Valentine has found success as the senior director of sales at ASM Global, which manages the KFC Yum! Center. Since 2010, he has additionally worked in the same capacity for AEG, while holding the title of champion of the diversity committee with AEG Presents. In 2012, he was an interim general manager of the Kentucky State Fair Board, and from 2010 to 2012, he served as the assistant general manager to the Kentucky State Fair Board.
Mr. Valentine is the founder of the Robbie Valentine Basketball Summer Camp, which he began in 1986. From 2008 to 2013, he was an honored volunteer with the Greater Clark County School Foundation, and from 2017 to 2018, he was a member of the iHeartMedia Local Advisory Board. Mr. Valentine served as a school board member for Greater Clark County Schools from 2004 to 2010, and from 1993 to 2008, he was the founder of a sports club with Robbie Valentine Enterprises.
For his accomplishments, Mr. Valentine was inducted into the Athletics Hall of Fame at North Hardin High School in 2007. He received the National Education Association’s Read Across America Certificate of Service in 2004 and a Certificate of Appreciation in 2000. Inducted into the University of Louisville Hall of Fame in 2000, Mr. Valentine was part of the 1986 NCA National Championship basketball team at the University of Louisville. He further received a Distinguished Citizen Award from Louisville Mayor Jerry Abramson in 2006 and an Award for Outstanding Service in Promoting the Welfare and Development of the Youth of Our Community in 2005.
Mr. Valentine attended the University of Louisville and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in education. He continued his higher education at the same institution and earned a master’s degree in sports management. Mr. Valentine attributes his success to his passion for helping others and the inspiration of his mother. In the coming years, he plans to continue growing his volunteerism and experiencing the success of his career endeavors.
