With nearly 20 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Staples has excelled as the vice president of operations for Galaxy Technologies since 2022 as well as the vice president and general manager for Ellwood Texas Forge Navasota LLC since 2021. Prior to these positions, he found success in a number of roles with Precision Castparts between 2009 and 2021, including as a management trainee, a production supervisor, an operations manager, a plant manager, the director of operations and the general manager. He began his career as a team lead for Shopko in Madison, Wisconsin from 2004 to 2009. Beyond his primary professional responsibilities, Mr. Staples has contributed to the Boy Scouts of America, Operation Underground Railroad, End Child Trafficking and his local church.
Mr. Staples initially pursued an education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, from which he earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering in 2008. He continued his academic efforts with a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt at Villanova University in 2014. Attributing his success to his naturally exceptional leadership skills, he was motivated to shift his attention toward management after working for many years as a mechanic due to the need to provide for his growing family. Proud to generate more than $15 million in annual profits for his businesses, Mr. Staples hopes to continue advancing to administrative positions at multiple sites within his company in the coming years.
