Helen Hall Leon, Philanthropist, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in charitable giving and nonprofit leadership.
A dedicated philanthropist, Ms. Leon has served as a board member for the Arnold Palmer Medical Center Foundation and the Orlando Health Foundation. She has additionally contributed as a member of the President’s Leadership Council at Brigham Young University. Ms. Leon works on endowments for children’s hospitals, and for her achievements as a philanthropist, she has been recognized with a Marquis Who’s Who Humanitarian Award.
Among her affiliations, Ms. Leon was the founder of the Edward Joseph Leon and Helen Hall Leon Endowed Fund at the Brigham Young University International Center for Law and Religious studies. She established the Leon Pediatric Neuroscience Center of Excellence at the Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital. Ms. Leon is associated with The Opera Orlando Foundation and the Brigham Young University Nursing School Foundation.
Ms. Leon has been recognized for her accomplishments with multiple awards and accolades. In 2022, the Opera Orlando Foundation honored her at its dinner. She is also the recipient of the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award, the highest award conferred by Marquis Who’s Who.
Ms. Leon attributes her success in philanthropy to her late husband, who helped establish her involvement in many philanthropic works. Among her accomplishments, she considers her involvement in significant charitable works such as the Leon Pediatric Neuroscience Center the highlight of her career. In the coming years, Ms. Leon hopes to continue supporting the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and Brigham Young University.
