Mr. Thomas leverages more than two decades of experience as a proven leader in his field. He recently joined Schooley Mitchell in 2022, operating as a strategic partner and business optimization specialist for the independent consulting firm. Additionally, he has served as the chief executive officer of Valiant 1 Consulting since 2022. As part of his duties, Mr. Thomas primarily assists his clients and customers — which primarily consist of businesses in various industries — with critical services that allow them to reduce average costs.
Prior to his current roles, Mr. Thomas excelled as the director of operations for the chassis division of Fritz Winer North America LP between 2021 and 2022. He was also a plant general manager for NTN Driveshaft Anderson from 2016 to 2021. Originally beginning his career in 2000, he worked extensively with FCA US LLC until 2016. During his time with the company, Mr. Thomas held several noteworthy positions, operating as an assembly supervisor between 2000 and 2001, a machining production manager between 2007 and 2008, and a business unit leader from 2010 to 2014.
Prior to embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. Thomas honorably served in the United States Army from 1995 to 1999, during which time he excelled as a medical non-commissioned officer in charge (NCOIC) in Fort Stewart, Georgia. He also previously pursued a formal education, earning a Bachelor of Science in biomedical engineering at the Milwaukee School of Engineering in 1994. After beginning his career, he subsequently continued his studies at Concordia University Wisconsin and achieved a Bachelor of Arts in business management in 2009.
Outside of his primary professional endeavors, Mr. Thomas also remains dedicated to civic advocacy, regularly participating with the United Way of Madison County. Well-regarded for his accomplishments in the field, he was named Businessman of the Year in 2019 by the Madison Chamber of Commerce, which he regards as a highlight of his career. Accounting for his accomplishments, he has largely attributed his success to his attitude of treating others with respect. In the coming years, Mr. Thomas hopes to continue creating a legacy for his children.
