Amer Mirza, Independent Consultant and Workday Human Capital Management, Security, Reporting and Overall IT Project Lead, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in information technology.

With more than 20 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Mirza has excelled as an independent consultant and an independent workday human capital management, security, reporting and overall information technology project lead since 2018. He began his career as a web developer and database engineer for Specialty Publishing Company, Connected World and “The Peggy Smedley Show” between 2001 and 2003. He subsequently worked as a technologist for W.W. Grainger Inc. from 2004 to 2006 and a senior professional services consultant with SumTotal Systems LLC. from 2006 to 2007. During this time, Mr. Mirza was additionally active as a volunteer computer science teacher for the Urban Muslim Minority Alliance Center from 2005 to 2008.

Mr. Mirza found further success with PepsiCo in Plano, Texas, holding the positions of a senior systems analyst from 2007 to 2011 and a business information systems application manager from 2011 to 2013. Soon thereafter, he served as the cloud services operations manager for Saba in Plano from 2013 to 2014. He was later recruited as a workday senior human capital management consultant for OneSource Virtual from 2014 to 2016 and a senior workday human capital management consultant for Alight Solutions from 2016 to 2017. Prior to establishing himself as an independent figure in his field, Mr. Mirza contributed to ORIX USA Coporation as a workday human resources information system lead from 2017 to 2018 and Motiva Enterprises LLC as a workday human capital management and security lead from 2018 to 2020.

Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Mirza earned a bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, programming and databases with DePaul University in 2000. He returned to the aforementioned university to conclude his studies several years later, graduating from the Driehaus College of Business with a Master of Science in business administration and information systems in 2009. As a testament to his outstanding endeavors, Mr. Mirza has received numerous accolades over the years, including an Award from the Urban Muslim Minority Alliance Center and various recognitions for his charitable and volunteer work.

Mr. Mirza attributes his success to his hard work and his ability to learn from his failure as opposed to becoming discouraged. Among the many highlights of his career, he is incredibly proud of configuring a large financial firm’s business processes and supporting systems for companies with over 250,000 employees. Looking toward the future, Mr. Mirza hopes to continue inspiring young professionals in his field by sharing the secrets of his success with future generations while dedicating his free time to raising animals on his farm.
