Emily Clodfelter, Project Manager at CT Wilson Construction Company, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in commercial construction.
Since 2022, Ms. Clodfelter has excelled as a project manager with the CT Wilson Construction Company Inc. In preparation for her accomplished career in commercial construction, she garnered experience as an intern at the International Home Furnishing Association from 2006 to 2007 before matriculating at High Point University. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in business with a minor in home furnishings management, Ms. Clodfelter attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, obtaining a Master of Architecture in 2017.
Prior to her current role, Ms. Clodfelter was a senior project manager with Fairwood Construction from 2021 to 2022 and a project manager with the same company from 2019 to 2021. She worked for Robert Johnson Architects as a project manager from 2017 to 2019 and served as a fabrication lab assistant with The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Ms. Clodfelter began her professional endeavors as a fitness specialist with the YMCA from 2001 to 2007, a financial adviser with Ameriprise Financial Services in 2007, an assistant public safety director with Valor Securities Services from 2007 to 2011 and a graduate research assistant at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 2016 to 2017.
For her professional accomplishments, Ms. Clodfelter received an Alpha Rho Chi Bronze Medal from the Grand Council of Alpha Rho Chi in 2017. In 2013, she was named Rookie of the Year by the Greensboro Police Department, and in 2012, she received an Academic Achievement Award from the same department. Before her current endeavors, Ms. Clodfelter served the City of Greensboro as a police officer from 2011 to 2016.
To keep abreast of her field, Ms. Clodfelter maintains membership with The National Association of Women in Construction. She is proud to have found success as a woman in a male-dominated industry, and in the future, she hopes to continue advancing in her career and eventually land a leadership position. In her spare time, Ms. Clodfelter enjoys woodworking and spending time outdoors.
