Hsinchia “Tim” Chen, PhD, Software Engineer for Electronics for Imaging Inc. and Algorithm U.S. Lead for PixArt Imaging, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in signal processing and imaging processing.
With more than 15 years of experience, Dr. Chen has excelled since 2019 as a software engineer for Electronics for Imaging Inc., an international company specializing in digital printing technology. Since 2015, he has also found success as the algorithm U.S. Lead for PixArt Imaging. The company specializes in CMOS imaging sensing technology.
Prior to his current roles, Dr. Chen garnered experience as the technical deputy manager for PixArt Imaging from 2006 to 2012. He became a senior system architect with the company in 2012, remaining in this position until 2015. From 2018 to 2019, he excelled as a senior staff algorithm scientist with Optovue.
In preparation for his career, Dr. Chen attended National Chiao Tung University, a research university located in Taiwan. He graduated from the aforementioned institution with a Doctor of Philosophy in signal processing. Among his professional experiences, Dr. Chen recalls learning about simultaneous imaging sensors in Taiwan as one of his career highlights.
Dr. Chen is a prolific scientist in his field, boasting nearly 100 patents and several published papers. In the coming years, he hopes his work can have a greater impact on society. He plans to continue working and finding success in his current field. In his spare time, Dr. Chen enjoys hiking and spending time with his family.
