Now retired after more than two decades of excellence in his chosen field, Mr. Finne previously distinguished himself through his role at the Washington Home Leasing Corporation. In this capacity, he leased residential homes to single families and kept abreast of new opportunities to make profitable investments in real estate. Previously, Mr. Finne found success for over 40 years as a marine engineer, during which time he assisted in the construction of nuclear submarines during the 1950s. Over the course of his career, his contributions to the advancement of naval power have remained his shining achievement.
Mr. Finne initially studied engineering at the University of Washington, from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 1956. In accounting for his subsequent success, he largely credits the influence of his maternal grandfather, who also excelled in real estate and gave Mr. Finne his namesake. Likewise, he drew extensively from the inspiration of his mother-in-law, whose love and support encouraged him to prosper.
Looking toward the future, Mr. Finne hopes to be remembered for his uncommon tenacity and ambition to reach his goals. In offering his advice to those who hope to follow his example, he counsels that one must remain focused on achieving the objectives they set forth with. Additionally, prospective entrepreneurs must be prepared to have differences of opinion with whom they partner with, and settle those differences in a way that ultimately strengthens the business.
Among his most cherished accomplishments, Mr. Finne is particularly proud to have married his wife, and to have served as a wonderful father to his three children, through whom he has one grandchild. Within the next several years, he aspires to continue working in real estate and building a prosperous inheritance for his family.
