J. Brian Clark, MBA, MA, Chief Operating Officer of GC LabTech Inc., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in laboratory administration and business development.
Since 2022, Mr. Clark has been the chief operating officer of GC LabTech Inc. Holding expertise in business development, strategic initiatives and operations, he was the director of operations for the same company from 2016 to 2022. From 2013 to 2016, he garnered experience as the director of donor services with the South Texas Blood & Tissue Center, before which he was a regional blood bank manager with the Baptist Health System from 2012 to 2013. Mr. Clark began his career with the U.S. Air Force, serving as a biomedical laboratory officer and scientist from 1993 to 2012 and as an operations and project manager from 2010 to 2012.
In preparation for his career, Mr. Clark attended the Community College of the Air Force, earning an associate degree in clinical laboratory science and medical technology in 2000. In 2004, he graduated from Wayland Baptist University with a bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory science and medical technology, after which he matriculated at Webster University. Mr. Clark obtained a Master of Business Administration in 2007 and a Master of Arts in human resources management and personnel administration in 2014. Currently, he is pursuing a doctorate in management at Wayland Baptist University. For his professional excellence, Mr. Clark earned an Outstanding Leadership Award from the Health2.0 Conference and Best Laboratory in San Antonio in 2022. To keep abreast of his field, he maintains affiliation with the American Society for Clinical Pathology, among other organizations.
