With more than a decade of experience to her credit, Ms. Cole is a rising expert in her chosen field. Since 2013, she has excelled as the vice president and co-owner of Piedmont Steel Company LLC, based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. As part of her duties, she oversees company advancement and development, recruiting, and accounting, in addition to ensuring all compliance procedures are properly followed. Ms. Cole also leverages several years of expertise working as a clinical and office manager for a local dental office. Ever committed to her current profession, she remains active within the American Institute of Steel Construction, the Steel Erectors Association of America and the American Welding Society.
Prior to embarking on her vocational journey, Ms. Cole pursued a formal education, studying at the Guilford Technical Community College and earning an associate’s degree in dental assisting in 2003. In addition to her academic credentials, she is a state-licensed wildlife rehabilitator. To commemorate her achievements, she has received the Safety Award from the North Carolina Department of Labor five times between 2019 and 2023. Furthermore, she was honored with the Family Business Award from the Triad Business Journal in 2021. Attributing her success to the competitive attitude, Ms. Cole is notably proud to serve her local high schools and colleges as a career counselor.
