Mark S. Rudd, president of Rudd Asset Management LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in energy industry.
Drawing on more than 50 years of practiced expertise, Mr. Rudd has cultivated a fulfilling career as a leader in his chosen field. Well-versed in energy development, efficiency and project management, he has excelled as the president of Rudd Asset Management (RAM) LLC since 2008. In his current position, he focuses on providing key consultations for electrical power projects and initiatives for developing new renewable energy sources. Mr. Rudd places a particular focus on the usage of biomass energy generation for new power projects, in addition to a variety of sound power efforts.
Prior to his current appointment, Mr. Rudd operated as a plant manager and Bailly nuclear one reactor engineer for NIPSCO LLC in Chesterton, Indiana, from 1978 to 2008. At the onset of his career, he served as a nuclear engineer in Paris, France, between 1975 and 1977. To remain abreast of developments within his industry, Mr. Rudd has also maintained his membership in the Association of Energy Engineers since 2005. Adjacent to his primary duties, Mr. Rudd is also proud to have volunteered as a basketball coach for the Indiana Special Olympics from 2002 to 2008.
Before beginning his vocational journey, Mr. Rudd pursued a formal education. Beginning his studies at Purdue University, he earned a bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering in 1972. He would subsequently continue his studies at the University of Chicago after commencing his career; in 1999, Mr. Rudd achieved a Master of Business Administration at the institution.
To commemorate his achievements, Mr. Rudd has been honored with several accolades, including an EPRI Innovations Award from the Electric Power Research Institute. In light of his fulfilling career, he has attributed much of his success to his passion for learning. To wit, he is consistently driven by his desire to learn new things and remain fully aware of new developments in his field. Accounting for his accomplishments, he is notably proud of his volunteer work, having won 15 state championships with his Special Olympics teams. In the coming years, Mr. Rudd hopes to eventually realize his dreams of utilizing green energy solutions throughout the United States.
