Marty Coniglio, President and Owner of WXPERT LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in weather forecasting.
Since 1995, Mr. Coniglio has excelled as the president and owner of WXPERT LLC. In preparation for his career in weather forecasting, he attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in meteorology with minors in psychology and English in 1984. Prior to his current role, he garnered experience as the chief meteorologist for numerous television stations. Mr. Coniglio worked for KMGH-TV from 1999 to 2004, KCNC-TV from 1989 to 1999, WAND-TV from 1987 to 1989 and WKBT News 8 from 1986 to 1987. He began his career as a meteorologist from KOLN/KGIN-Television from 1985 to 1986.
Alongside his degree, Mr. Coniglio is eminently qualified as a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist through the American Meteorological Society, a distinction he earned in 2009. In 1987, he received a Broadcast Seal of Approval from the same organization. Additionally, he holds numerous certifications through the Federal Aviation Administration, including his Commercial Pilot Certificate, Instrument Pilot Rating and Private Pilot Certificate. Mr. Coniglio has also been recognized for his achievements and professional excellence with numerous awards, including a Regional Emmy Award in 2008, an Emmy Award from the Heartland Emmy Region in 1994 and 1993, and a Regional Emmy Award for Best Weathercaster. In the coming years, he hopes to grow his business and expand into multiple states while continuing to work for himself.
