As an accomplished professional with more than 15 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Dasgupta has excelled as an assistant treasurer for Viatris Inc. since 2020. Prior to this role, he was the senior director of business transformation and integration management for Upjohn, a division of Pfizer Inc., from 2019 to 2020. He garnered experience from 2017 to 2019 as the director of integration management, mergers and acquisitions for business development with Pfizer Inc. and served the company as the senior treasury project lead from 2014 to 2017. Mr. Dasgupta began his career with General Electric, working in the financial management program, on the corporate audit staff, and serving as the director of finance and technical accounting for NBC Universal.
To prepare for his career, Mr. Dasgupta earned a bachelor’s degree at the Seth Anandram Jaipuria College in India in 2000. He went on to graduate from the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies in India with a Master of Business Administration in 2004. For his professional achievements, he was recognized with an Adam Smith Award for Foreign Exchange Risk Management from Viatris Inc. and an additional Adam Smith Award for Best Supporting Capital Management Solution for Pfizer. In his spare time, Mr. Dasgupta enjoys gardening and traveling. He hopes to continue growing in his profession while contributing to society through diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives in the years to come.
