Tony DelaRosa, MED, Co-Founder of NYC Men Teach, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in public speaking and racial equity.
Mr. DelaRosa is an accomplished professional who has excelled as the chief executive officer and founder of Tony Rosa Speaks LLC since 2018. Since 2020, he has found success as the co-founder of NYC Men Teach. Alongside these roles, he was a graduate teaching fellow at the Harvard University Graduate School of Education in 2021 and served as the director of teacher leadership development and a diversity, equity and inclusion specialist in coaching with Teach for America from 2018 to 2021. Mr. DelaRosa is an expert in leadership coaching, motivational speaking, and consulting on diversity, equity and inclusion. Throughout his career, he has helped organize many cross-racial solidarity initiatives, educational panels and events following the death of George Floyd in 2020.
In preparation for his career, Mr. DelaRosa obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Asian studies and poetry from the University of Cincinnati in 2012. In 2014, he earned a Master of Arts in Teaching at Marian University, and in 2018, he graduated from Harvard University with a Master of Education. Committed to his professional development, Mr. DelaRosa is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in educational leadership and policy analysis at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Alongside his formal degrees, he earned a business-level Japanese language certification through Nagoya University in 2011. For his accomplishments, he received the 2023 Community Trailblazer Award from the Asian American Foundation, the 2021 INSPIRE Award from the National Association of Asian American Professionals and a Teacher Creativity Grant from Eli Lilly Inc. in 2015. In his spare time, Mr. DelaRosa enjoys cooking, playing video games, teaching Spanish and Tagalog to his son, and spending time with his family.
