Entering the field in 1999, he went on to serve as the owner and operator of Evergreen Residential Care, Morning Pointe, and Brookdale, and has consulted on behalf of other care providers between 2005 and 2018. In his capacity at Canterfield of Franklin, Mr. Hamilton maintains responsibility for all daily administrative operations. Long driven to do right by those under his care, he previously found success in both the restaurant industry and as a corporate accountant.
Mr. Hamilton has served as a board member of Fresno River Park Rotary from 2012 to 2018, and previously sat as the chairman of the community service unit between 2012 and 2014. The organization named him as their Rotarian of the Year in 2014, and he also served as a Rotarian in Brentwood, Tennessee from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, Mr. Hamilton was a board member of the Optimal Hospice Foundation from 2014 until 2018. In accounting for his success, he largely credits the support of his wife, Lupe, who graciously volunteers her time at the assisted living community with which he is currently active. Looking toward the future, Mr. Hamilton hopes to continue experiencing the growth of his professional journey and helping those who care for their aging parents.
