Moreover, she is a certified chaplain and ordained minister from Word of Life Ministries International, a certified Christian coach through New Life Coaching, and is certified in nonprofit leadership by Michigan State University. She was presented with an honorary PhD by CICA International University & Seminary in 2016.
In addition to her primary vocation, Ms. Steele remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to her areas of expertise. She was a member of the Kiwanis Club, the Women Speakers Association, the National Association of Professional Women, and the Professional Leaders of Women and Girls. She found success with her five written works related to child development and published by Gem Makers Publishing.
In light of her impressive undertakings, Ms. Steele has accrued several accolades throughout her career. She was recognized as a Difference Maker 100 Honoree by the Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association in 2018 and presented with 8 awards or nominations from several prestigious organizations and individuals including the Department of Education, the United States Postal Service, CannanLand Church, and President Barack Obama.
