Brandon Stanley, Deputy Fire Chief at Kingsport Fire Department, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in public service.
With more than 20 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Stanley has excelled as the deputy fire chief with the Kingsport Fire Department since 2002. Notably, he was further appointed as the fire captain for the aforementioned fire department in 2015. Mr. Stanley recently advanced to the position of senior fire captain with the Kingsport Fire Department in 2019.
In his present position, Mr. Stanley is responsible for responding to calls to handle fires and additional special hazards as well as staff scheduling and training for new fire officers. Remaining open to new ideas, he strives to remain current with any and all developments in tactics and management in fire services, and he seizes every opportunity to personally mentor young recruits. Mr. Stanley has been reputable in his field as a man of his word who is always willing to put in the necessary work and would never ask anyone to do anything that has would not or has not done.
To support his professional ambitions, Mr. Stanley pursued a higher education, obtaining an Associate of Science in fire science. He concluded his studies at Columbia Southern University, from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in fire administration, magna cum laude. Following these accomplishments, Mr. Stanley earned his certification as a fourth-level fire officer, hazardous materials specialist and paramedic by The National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians.
Beyond his primary responsibilities within the field, Mr. Stanley has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He has been affiliated with both The Tennessee Fire Chiefs Association and The International Association of Fire Fighters. Likewise, Mr. Stanley remains active as a member of The Tennessee Emergency Management Agency and The National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians.
