Mr. Nix began his career in the financial sector, but after his brother introduced him to land and mineral services, he found his chosen career path. Mr. Nix contributed to Northwestern Mutual as an associate financial advisor between 2015 and 2018. In 2018, he returned to BETA Land Services as a land broker, where he thrived until 2020. He has worked as a land broker for J Nix, LLC since 2020 and Camalo Energy Resources, LLC since 2022.
Dedication to success led Mr Nix to graduate with a diploma from St. Paul’s High School in 2007. He subsequently earned a Bachelor of Arts in French language and a minor in English literature from the University of Mississippi in 2011. He earned a registered professional landman designation by the American Association of Professional Landmen.
In his work conducting extensive mineral title and land rights research and negotiating land and mineral rights agreements with property owners, Mr. Nix draws immense satisfaction from having expanded his clientele and transforming his life’s work into a thriving enterprise. He refuses to remain content with employee status and continually strives for growth in his field and independent success.
