Neville A. Swaby, independent financial management consultant and international financial management consultant, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in international financial management consulting.
With nearly 30 years of experience to his credit, Dr. Swaby has excelled as an independent financial management consultant and international financial management consultant since 1996. In his role, he consults with national and international companies and trains them in management and leadership. He served as an associate professor and associate dean at the University of Technology’s College of Business and Management from 1997 to 2015, at which time he retired from the position.
Before embarking on his professional path, Dr. Swaby pursued an education at Florida International University where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with double majors in finance and international business in 1985. He continued his academic efforts at Barry University, obtaining a Master of Business Administration in business administration and management in 1988. He concluded his studies at Argosy University, graduating with a Doctor of Business Administration in international business, marketing, and management in 2005. He holds certifications as a chartered wealth manager, a chartered portfolio manager, an accredited financial analyst, and a chartered asset manager.
Beyond his responsibilities within the field, Dr. Swaby has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He found success with two written works related to wealth management and governance. He donates to the Salvation Army and does community work with the Red Cross.
In addition to his primary vocation, Dr. Swaby remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise. He was a member of the International Business Institute, the Financial Management Journal, the Finance and Property Committee of the University Council of Jamaica, the Jamaica Bauxite Institute, and sits on the academic board of the University of Technology Jamaica. In light of his impressive undertakings, he has accrued several accolades throughout his career. He was presented with the Long Service Award in 2009, the Leadership Award in 2015, and was honored for program development.
