Dr. Chaaban embarked on his professional journey by earning a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon in 1991. His academic pursuits continued as he attained a Master of Science in anesthesia from the University of Detroit Mercy and a Doctor of Philosophy in health care administration from Capella University in 2006. The culmination of which led him to success in the professional realm.
Dr. Chaaban held influential roles, serving as the Henry Ford Health System director from 2013 until 2020. Subsequently, he assumed the position of regional director of anesthesia for NorthStar Anesthesia in 2021. Leveraging over two decades of experience, Dr. Chaaban founded and leads Bsaba Anesthesia Staffing in 2023. Since then, he has dedicated his efforts to talent management, focusing on recruiting qualified anesthesiologists for hospitals in need.
Dr. Chaaban is an esteemed member of several professional associations. Such organizations include the Arab American Chamber of Commerce, the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology, and the Society for Simulation in Healthcare.
