Prior to these posts, he served as a field engineer and cost engineer with the Turner Construction Company between 2011 and 2012. Mr. Torrez began his career as a private swimming instructor at Trinity Washington University from 2008 to 2013 as well as both an assistant to the general counsel and a sacramental records associate for the Archdiocese for the Military Services of the USA from 2008 to 2011.
To support his professional ambitions, Mr. Torrez pursued an education at The Catholic University of America, from which he earned a Bachelor of Engineering in civil engineering and a Bachelor of Science in architecture in 2011. As a testament to his stellar endeavors, he was recognized as the Employee of the Year during his tenure with the Turner Construction Company. He has attributed his success in both hospitality and construction to his understanding of the American traveler, as he prioritizes keeping people on the road, provides others with spaces in which they can create memories with one another, and remains focused on future developments in his respective industries. Looking toward the future, Mr. Torrez hopes to obtain brand certification from as many hotels as possible in order to become a power player in fabrication and logistics for the global hospitality marketplace.
