Dr. Ethridge is a distinguished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive expertise in mental health counseling and ministry. Her personal journey, which serves as the foundation for her success, spans several decades. It commenced with the acquisition of associate degrees in theology and religious education from A Ray of Hope Seminary & Bible College and the Family Radio School of Bible in the early 1990s.

Building upon this foundation, Dr. Ethridge pursued a Bachelor of Christian Education from Siloam University Theological Seminary & Bible College, which she completed in 1995. Subsequently, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Liberty University in 2020. In addition, she received her master’s degree in Christian Education in 2016, and She earned a master’s degree in counseling psychology from National University in 2023, specializing in licensed professional clinical counseling and marriage and family therapy. Undeterred in her academic endeavors, she obtained doctoral degrees in theology and ministry from Christian Leadership University in 2011. Finally, she culminated her educational journey by attaining a PhD from Next Dimension University in 2015. Dr. Ethridge further garnered certifications in drug and alcohol education, as well as becoming a national mental health first aid instructor, having trained more than 7,000 first aiders. Continuing forward, she has attained her certification as a peer support specialist through Loyola Marymount university and is currently enrolled at Rockhurst University in pursuit of another doctorate in education and healthcare.

Dr. Ethridge currently serves as the chief executive director of the HumanityCenter4Change mental health agency, a role that she has held since 2000. In this position, she collaborates with the National Council for Behavioral Health to help change and eliminate the stigma surrounding mental illnesses as a treatable disorder. She also helps children and adolescents address their mental health struggles through training courses and partnering with various school districts in California. Additionally, she works as a consultant for the U.S. Institute of Diplomacy and Human Rights, contributing her expertise to various initiatives aimed at promoting mental health awareness and providing access to resources.

Outside of her professional commitments, Dr. Ethridge serves as an assistant pastor and minister at Faith Fellowship Bible Baptist Church, and volunteers her time as a professor at Next Dimension University, engaging with aspiring counselors and therapists to nurture the next generation of mental health professionals. Additionally, she is an Outreach Specialist at Wings of Love, Inc. and serves as an assistant pastor at Hallelujah Temple. Dr. Ethridge is also affiliated with The American Association of Christian Counselors, The American Psychological Association, and The California Association of Marriage Family Therapists.

Throughout her career, Dr. Ethridge attributes her success to her unwavering commitment to serving others and her deep-rooted faith. She finds the most rewarding aspect of her profession in the ability to make a positive difference in people’s lives, guiding them toward healing and empowerment. Another highlight was penning such published works as “The Wilted Flower: Redemption at Work” and “Putting Back the Pieces of the Puzzle.” Notably, she has been honored many times, obtaining a Certificate of Recognition from Mayor L. Dennis Michael in 2019, a National Recognition from the National Council for Behavior Health in 2021, and a Recognition from The National Society of Leadership in 2023. 

Looking ahead, Dr. Ethridge envisions continued growth and success in her career with HumanityCenter4Change, furthering her mission to promote mental health awareness and accessibility. She remains dedicated to mentoring aspiring professionals in the field, offering valuable advice and guidance to those embarking on similar paths.
