In his position, his responsibilities include contracting a local field adjuster to conduct field investigations, reporting findings to underwriters, filing emergency disaster responses, and ensuring adherence to agreed-upon processes for handling various scenarios. When addressing the merits of a property claim, he estimates the cost of repairs, analyzes the duration of business interruption for the insured corporation, and calculates the amount of business interruption loss.

Mr. Culley began his career as a commercial property claims adjuster at Aetna from 1991 to 1994. He worked as a property claims adjuster at Edward R. Reilly & Company from 1994 to 1995 before transitioning to the role of manager of marketing and business development at Servpro Restoration from 1995 to 1996. At Crawford and Company, he contributed as a property claims adjuster from 1996 to 1999 and a property claims supervisor from 1999 to 2000. He established himself as a GA in the AIU claim management department at the American International Group from 2000 to 2005.

Mr. Culley found success with Allied World Assurance Company Holdings, Ltd. as assistant vice president of property and energy claims from 2005 to 2008 and at Allied World as assistant vice president of IS property claims from 2008 to 2012. He continued his career as an executive general adjuster at York Risk Services Group from 2012 to 2018. He has garnered a stellar reputation as a senior executive general adjuster with York Risk Services Group since 2019.

Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Culley pursued an education at the State University of New York at Farmingdale, where he completed coursework in construction technology between 1986 and 1988. He continued his academic efforts at St. Francis College, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in business management in 1991. At Middlesex County College, he studied construction estimating in 2001. He concluded his studies at Trident University, graduating with a master’s degree in emergency and disaster management in 2007. He holds a license as a property adjuster in New Mexico, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Kentucky, West Virginia, South Carolina, New Hampshire, New York, Delaware, Texas, Louisiana, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Florida.

Beyond his responsibilities within the field, Mr. Culley has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He has held the role of board member at the Culley Strong Foundation since 2019. In addition to his primary vocation, he remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise. He was a member of the Loss Executives Association, the Property & Liability Resource Bureau, the California Insurance Emergency Response Association, and the United States of America Triathlon Association. He served on the board of directors of the CulleyStrong Foundation.

Mr. Culley considers his contributions in the aftermath of the terror attacks of September 11th, 2001, and the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill in the Gulf of Mexico as his most notable career achievements. Subsequent to the events of the September 11 attacks, he was exposed to carcinogens and was diagnosed with cancer. Nevertheless, he adapted and has continued doing what he loves. In the immediate future, he intends to retire.
