Kenny from 1991 to 1992, a software engineer consultant for Citibank from 1992 to 1993, and a consultant with Ortho Clinical Diagnostics from 1993 to 1995. Prior to his present positions, Mr. Shajenko was active as the president and owner of Statos Technology from 1993 to 2002, a software development manager for Qualcomm from 2002 to 2004, a senior software engineer for Atheros Communications from 2004 to 2005, and a software development manager from 2005 to 2012.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Shajenko pursued an education at the University of Connecticut, from which he earned a Bachelor of Science in physics, mathematics and chemistry. He concluded his studies at New York University, graduating from the Polytechnic School of Engineering with a Master of Science in computer science. In the years that followed, Mr. Shajenko has continued refining his skill set, establishing himself as an expert on medical instruments, medical devices, embedded software and visualization software.
Beyond his primary responsibilities within the field, Mr. Shajenko has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his immediate professional circles. Since 2010, he has contributed as a construction volunteer for the Seattle-King County chapter of Habitat for Humanity. He has also found success as a consultant for various projects in relation to Wall Street. Mr. Shajenko has likewise maintained his affiliation with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), a prominent association for professionals working in electronics engineering, electrical engineering, and other related disciplines.
Harboring an interest in physics, mathematics and chemistry in his formative years, Mr. Shajenko became enthralled with software development during his higher education, shifting his attention to creating his own success with Stratos Technology before dedicating himself to consultancy work. Among the many achievements of his career, he is incredibly proud of creating medical devices that have had a positive impact on the lives of countless people, as he showcased a steadfast commitment to quality and a level of technical expertise in these developments. Looking toward the future, Mr. Shajenko hopes to garner angel funding for Orthobotics while reducing the overall cost of medical robotics so they may be covered by insurance companies, especially those covering veterans in need of affordable yet advanced care.
