Prior to his current role, he held several key positions at L’Oreal, including senior vice president of research and innovation of Asia-Pacific from 2018 to 2021 and vice president of research and innovation from 2013 to 2018. Before joining L’Oreal, he served as director of Better Faster Innovation at Unilever and held various research and development leadership roles in North America and Asia-Pacific.
Mr. Browne’s journey into the consumer goods industry began during his time at the University of Waterloo, where he participated in a co-op program that introduced him to the science and technology behind consumer products. Throughout his career, he has been instrumental in driving innovative market advancements and fostering the development of individuals within the organizations he has served. He attributes his success to his willingness to take risks, embrace discomfort, and surround himself with brilliant minds.
