Recently, the company has expanded globally, with its latest release being in Barcelona.
Additionally, Mr. Ramadhin has been a lead therapist at Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa since 2015. Additionally, he has worked as a licensed massage therapist at the Woodhouse Day Spa at The Summit since 2014 and at Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa from 2014 to 2015. He also served as a corporate trainer for Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa from 2016 to 2021. Before embarking on his professional path, he pursued an education at Cortiva Institute Massage Therapy & Skincare Schools, completing coursework in 2014.
Mr. Ramadhin’s business journey began with a desire to create a perfume that captured the essence of Manhattan, a city that uplifted him as an immigrant facing challenges. His unique scent garnered attention, leading him to share samples with family and friends. Starting with just $200, he turned his passion into a successful venture, expanding his product line to include fragrances inspired by various cities due to growing demand.
Last year, Mr. Ramadhin was honored with an invitation to visit Camp David to create a perfume exclusively for their private shop. During his visit, he received a comprehensive tour of the premises, including the landing site for the president’s helicopter, the cabins, and the area where the president grills steaks. After presenting several samples, one was chosen. Within a few months, he produced and shipped a few hundred bottles of the selected perfume. Now, every cabin in Camp David, including the current president’s, features a bottle of his creation.
In light of his impressive undertakings, Mr. Ramadhin has accrued several accolades throughout his career. He was featured in Shoutout DFW and received the Best Night Time Date Night Fragrance award for Tempo in 2023. Additionally, he was honored with the Best Tropical Fragrance award for Miami Tropical Confessions by AskMen in 2022. He attributes his success to his passion for creativity, his dedication to understanding and capturing the essence of various cities, and his ability to connect with locals and collaborate with influencers.
Throughout his career, Mr. Ramadhin’s most significant highlight was creating a personalized perfume blend inspired by St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands, which holds a special place in his heart. During the creation process, he faced the immense personal loss of his father. To honor his father’s memory, he continued learning perfumery. One night, feeling unsatisfied with the formula, he dreamt of his father pointing to a bottle containing quince, a sweet apple note. Upon waking, he added quince to the formula, completing the fragrance. He launched the St. John’s perfume on Father’s Day last year while in St. John.
Looking ahead, Mr. Ramadhin aspires to expand his presence in the global fragrance market. He is currently collaborating with a few investors who discovered him on LinkedIn to enhance his scalability and streamline his production process. This collaboration aims to increase his inventory and establish a presence in diverse retail stores. Additionally, he plans to launch a new fragrance inspired by the cultural heritage of Puerto Rico in the upcoming summer season.
