Nitin Ajmera, MBA, CPA, C-level senior finance executive, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in finance.
Mr. Ajmera has dedicated over three decades to the fields of finance, accounting, process improvement, and process harmonization. He currently excels as the chief financial officer at Moore Holdings LLC, where he reviews and analyzes financials against budgets and trends, implements corrective processes, and projects behaviors based on external factors. Additionally, he has been an adjunct faculty member at LeBow College of Business, Drexel University, since 2018. Additionally, he served as adjunct chief financial officer at New TSI Holdings Inc. from 2020 to 2022 and held various leadership roles at Town Sports International from 2008 to 2020. He was also director of business support services at Schenker and director of strategic planning and marketing at Janson International. He began his career as a management trainee at Malvika Steels Limited in 1995.
In addition to his primary vocation, Mr. Ajmera has served as chair of the Parliament of the World’s Religions since 2020 and an advisor to the School of Economics at Drexel University since 2016. He previously served as treasurer for the Parliament of the World’s Religions from 2019 to 2020 and as president of the Jain Center of America from 2015 to 2016. He has also been involved in podcast recordings for The Interfaith Center of New York since 2016 and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Financial Executives International, the Financial Executives Networking Group, and Beta Gamma Sigma.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Ajmera pursued an education at Delhi University, earning a Bachelor of Science in physics in 1993, followed by a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management in general management at the Birla Institute of Management Technology in 1995. He went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration in finance and management information systems from LeBow College of Business, Drexel University, in 1997. Following these accomplishments, he completed certifications as a Certified Public Accountant from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants in 2019. His most notable achievement is steering the New York Sports Club through its Chapter 11 filing, preventing liquidation, and preserving many jobs and an iconic New York brand. He credits his success to the support of his parents and mentors, hard work, and staying one step ahead. Looking ahead, he aims to consolidate his legacy and remain in executive roles, guiding organizations to success, and seeking new career challenges.
