Mr. Ndah also founded the Tony Ndah Foundation to empower youth in West Africa and the US. Through this initiative, he offers scholarships, skill acquisition programs, and mentoring. Mr. Ndah’s prior positions include drilling engineer at Schlumberger from 2004 to 2016, petroleum engineer at Chevron Corporation in 2000, and production and wireline services engineer at Schlumberger in 1999. He also laid a solid foundation for his career, earning a Bachelor of Science in petroleum engineering from the University of Ibadan, a Master of Science in petroleum engineering from Texas A&M University, and a Master of Business Administration from Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University in 2016. He is an active member of the American Association of Drilling Engineers, the International Association of Drilling Contractors, the Society of Petroleum Engineers, and the Society of Independent Gasoline Marketers of America.
Mr. Ndah attributes his success to his unwavering tenacity, refusal to give up, and ability to dream big and take risks. He believes his faith in God has provided the strength, guidance, and inspiration to overcome obstacles and achieve his goals. His hobbies include playing soccer, going to the gym, playing basketball with his kids, teaching them about science, traveling, fishing, and golf. In the coming years, he is eager to contribute to the research initiatives at Rice University and is passionate about supporting cancer research and empowering young people by promoting education in math and sciences.
